Use of Nitrogen in Tires

use, nitrogen, tires, advantages, disadvantages
Tire is one of the most important parts of the vehicle, one thing to note on the tire is the gas pressure on the tire, so that the tire becomes stable, the grip performance or the tire's grip to the road is maintained optimally, and the tire life becomes longer. Generally we fill the tires using air and nitrogen.

Now many vehicles such as cars or motorcycles that fill the tires with nitrogen, in consideration because nitrogen has several advantages, among others: tires do not heat quickly; Not easily deflated because the tire containing nitrogen has a greater number of molecular particles so as to prevent leakage (seepage) which causes reduced gas pressure on the vehicle tire so that the tire pressure is more maintained long lasting; Traction power and tire performance become more optimal due to good grip and less pressure; Extend the life of the tires because the right tire pressure keeps the tire running evenly; Saving fuel for lightening machine work; Tire pressure is stable against tire temperature and also reduces accidents due to tire breaks / overpressure; There is no oxidation in rubber tires so as to prolong the elasticity of rubber tires so that the flexibility of rubber is maintained; In addition to using nitrogen also makes more comfortable in driving, because the tire slamming vehicle becomes more tender.

Besides the above mentioned advantages, the shortcomings are seen from the availability of nitrogen gas filling for vehicle tires, and seen from the charging price which is certainly more expensive than the normal air fill.
